Meet Michelle
Michelle and her husband have been residents of Travelers Rest for eight years. They love the Travelers Rest community and enjoy biking on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, hiking, and spending time with their fur-babies. Michelle’s passion for wine began over twenty years ago when she lived in Charleston and worked in the food and beverage industry as a server in two well-established fine dining restaurants. In these settings, she developed her knowledge and appreciation of good food and fine wine. After earning an Education Specialist degree at the Citadel, Michelle began an eighteen-year career as a school psychologist in public schools. During this time, she continued to have a passion for wine and dreamed of one day owning her own wine shop. She took on a part-time job at The Tasting Room in 2021 whichprovided her an opportunity to sharpen her wine knowledge and develop relationships with local wine
enthusiasts. Michelle is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a local business owner in the Travelers Rest community and share her love of wine with others.
